The honest truth, as I always am with people.
Short version: Yes. The design of this website was made by Claude. I have a very limited idea of how to do CSS and I won't pretend otherwise. I can write HTML, I can write JavaScript, but CSS is confusing as fuck.
Everything you see on the front-end (CSS) of this site was built with Claude. It is called VIBE-coding for a reason, anybody can imagine a vibe and people's concerns with "vibe-coded websites" are only problematic when you have the LLM making the ENTIRE website as it doesn't understand the principles of security. Front-end CSS =/= the website's security.
If you have ever looked at this site and thought it looked decent, that is not me being modest about a hidden talent. I spent hours with my artist designing exactly the layout I wanted it, and then showed it to claude code (with her permission) and spent hours more building it to exactly what I wanted it to be.
Everything that's not CSS is done by myself. The Discord bot, moderation systems, ban database, appeal handling (which is more my mods than me), API endpoints, database design, infrastructure it all runs on. Claude might have *advised* when I needed help and was stuck but I didn't implement something 1:1 or copy paste.
I do not use AI image generation. No generated art, no generated thumbnails, no generated avatars. When there is art on this site or on my channels, a person (do mods get human rights?) made it.
I do not use it to write my videos, my scripts but DO use it to supplement the research in them because, if you want the very honest truth, claude is much better than your average human at getting a task, and locating all associated information. This is not anything new, all my colleagues and fellow industry professionals use LLM's daily. I apologize if that's a hard pill to swallow but that is the hard truth for the IT/Cybersecurity industry.
You are free to not like AI and you are free to not use it or use it as much as you like. Nobody should treat you differently because of if you decide to use it.
What I take issue with is going out of your way to attack or harass people over it. I don't like AI images either, I agree most look like hot ass. Treating those people the same as the worst actors in the space is not principled, looking at you, Twitter. 'Specially the VTweeters
Disagreeing with a tool is fine. Harassing someone for using it to look something up is not.
If your objection is to generated art flooding spaces made by artists, I'm not saying you can't have that opinion. I just think you should realize you look stupid and unhinged to the people who aren't on either end of the spectrum (the folks who use AI but aren't diehard powerusers of it.) which degrades your cause by turning these people away to the pro-AI users who don't attack them for an opinion.

I have always been transparent with my community from day one, my twitch subscribers (the "mutated nullbytes" role in my discord) have seen me going on multi-paragraph rants before.
